ALIVE INSIDE is an award winning and uplifting documentary exploring music’s capacity to reawaken our souls and uncover the deepest part of our humanity. It reconnects us to our memories and identity. Filmmakers chronicle the astonishing experiences of dementia sufferers revitalized through the simple experience of listening to music.
The film reveals the uniquely human connection we find in music and how its healing power can triumph where prescription medication falls short. It shows dementia patients coming alive and able to communicate with their loved ones.
NHS High Weald Lewes Havens CCG is hosting 3 free screenings of Alive Inside, attendance is open to everyone including hospital staff, healthcare professionals, people living with dementia, care home staff and all members of the public.
No need to book, just come along.
All NHS attendees will receive a certificate awarding them Dementia Awareness Learning Event: Tier 1
